As the client, you are responsible for maintaining safe access into and out of the yard (if we are unable to clean due to access, you will be charged for that cleanup), immediate notification of any changes in the number of pets and prompt payment of balances due.
Billing and Discounts: We set our prices based on a 4 week month to make things simpler for you when budgeting. This is true even if we scoop your yard 5 times in one month. This means if you are on a once a week service and your monthly bill is $100 and we discount a cleaning, we are applying the discount to $25, not the entire billing period unless otherwise stated. (An example of this would be if we discount one cleaning by 50%, your $100 bill the following month would be reduced to $87.50.) Discounts are applied to the following billing cycle unless otherwise stated.
Payment: Payment is due on the 1st of every the month. When starting a new Service, payment will be due on the day of the initial cleaning. Depending on when in the month Service is starting, a prorated amount will be charged. In addition to any amounts owed to Sunny Pup Scoopers, you agree to be responsible for all reasonable collection and attorney’s fees we may incur in seeking to bring your account to current.
Late Fees: If payment is not received within 14 calendar days of due date, you will receive a notification, a $20 late fee will be charged and Services will be paused until account balance is brought to current.
Refunds: We do not offer refunds for payment of Services unless the reason is an error on our part. If a refund is to be given for any reason, other than the fault of our own, refunds will be given minus bank/credit card processing fees and any proration of services, if relevant.
Weather: We will make every effort to scoop your yard during inclement weather. However it can become hazardous and force us to skip your yard. If this happens and we are unable to shift you cleaning to another day in the week, we will perform a double doody cleaning the following week.
Pausing Service: If for any reason your pet(s) will not be using the yard for a certain period (i.e. vacation, illness, etc.) and you do not wish to be charged for an unnecessary visit(s), please let us know in advance to pause the service. If you have multiple pets and some but not all will be absent for a period of time requiring us to still service a yard with less waste than normal, please contact us to discuss options for pause or potential discounted service. Please note that upon resuming your service, an initial clean-up fee may be added depending on the length of time of the pause.
Performance of Service: The Services will be performed by us on the date(s) or day(s) of the week specified unless you are notified otherwise. We will notify you 5-15 minutes before arriving and upon completion of the Service. Please be sure the gate/access point is free of any obstructions (i.e., dogs, padlocks, lawn furniture, etc.) and is unlocked (if electronic lock is used, please unlock it or provide us with a code). If we cannot access your yard, you will be notified and charged for the visit. Although we will give our best effort to secure the gate and provide a picture of the gate when we leave, we (Sunny Pup Scoopers) do not assume responsibility for securing your gates. If we are unable to secure your gate, we will notify you (in person or via text message) before leaving the property.
Aggressive animals: Sunny Pup Scoopers will work with friendly animals in the yard; however, we will NOT work around aggressive animals. If we cannot access your yard or complete a scooping because of an aggressive animal, you will be notified and charged for the visit. If an employee is ever bitten by any animal, the employee will immediately leave the premise to seek medical attention. The yard will be left in “as is” condition and may be considered as Services rendered for that visit. All medical fees will be your responsibility within a reasonable amount of time. Depending on the situation, Animal Control may be contacted and/or further actions may be taken. You will maintain accurate and proper vaccination records for your dog(s) and make them available to us for inspection, if requested, or in the event of a dog bite/attack of a an employee. We relies on your assessment of your animal’s temperament. Please consider this for our safety. Please consider that even if your pet is normally friendly, they may feel differently or even feel threatened when a technician enters your yard with scooping tools. When in doubt, please remove your pet from the Service area until the cleaning is complete. Sunny Pup Scoopers reserves the right not to service any yard we don’t feel comfortable in.
We assume no liabilities for damages to yards, gates, pets or other properties.
Fees and Promotions: These are subject to change at any time. While we will make every effort to keep our prices as low reasonably possible. The two most common causes for a price increase would be rising cost of fuel and cost of living. Normally this cost increase will be considered once at end of year. In this rare circumstance, you will be notified at least two (2) weeks prior to any changes. We are a family owned and operated business. This means that while we are a for profit business, our main concern is providing the best service possible to our customers so they feel it is worth the cost. We will never raise our prices just to increase profit margins!
While this is a monthly service, either party may terminate service (in writing. e-mail counts.) at any time. We will never charge a cancellation fee! Any unpaid balances are due within 15 days of cancellation.
By initiating service, both parties agree to the above terms and responsibilities.
